XP pro is much more reliable and I can't recall a service pack causing computers to crash left and right on xp. Vista has some neat features but the negatives out weigh the positives I'm afraid.
Throw three slices of bacon on it and you have yourself a deal. Minus the tomato and pickle of course. Not truly knowing what is packed in the hot dog has always scared me.
I have always supported AMD but they have really been falling behind Intel with recent cpu's. My desktop is an AMD Athlon 64x2 but my new laptop is a core2duo and my server is a core2quad. I'm much more impressed with Intel.
