There is one VERY big difference. A majority of homeless people have made some bad choices in their life to get where they are. Sure misfortune can hit anyone but animals are at the complete mercy of their owners. They don\'t choose to become homeless because they made a bad decision the become homeless because some douche bag couldn\'t keep up with the commitment they made when they purchased, adopted, or received the animal.

I love learning new things and college was very enlightening but I'm sorry if you don't possess the common sense to function in society your screwed no matter how intelligent you are.

I am such an animal lover and it breaks my heart to see an animal on the side of the road. It's not there fault that they got there...they are completely innocent. I would do anything to help one. They also can't make decisions..... so that is all I am going to say.
