As usual Obama delivered much more eloquent responses but I personally feel that McCain slightly topped Obama with substance. McCain finally took his gloves off (Outside of dirty advertising) and we'll just have to see what the people think about his mild bullying of Obama.

Don't think thats hydrogen, are you thinking about bio fuel? Hydrogen requires thousands of pounds of pressure in the cell itself and is fueled by compressed hydrogen with is the fuel source.

I am kind of in the middle on this one. I thought Biden did a good job also. I would like to read up on him a little more. I almost felt sorry for him every time Sarah Palin brought up the things he voted against Obama.

I too was disappointed with the question dodging. It's not enough to keep me from voting for the McCain ticket as of yet but it is enough to motivate me to dive into researching the issues she failed to respond to.

By skewing the questions you mean did the moderator ask questions that demand difficult answers? I thought the questions were pretty apolitical, and avoiding answering the questions is not a good strategy if you want to make points with voters like me.

Avoiding questions when the moderator obviously wanted to skew the questions was not a bad strategy. I thought that Biden was making absolute statements, like "We need to know what is causing Global Warming to fix it". Instead, hey, we agree to disagree, but we all agree that burning less petroleum is a good idea, so how do we make that happen faster. Or... We need to talk about alternative energy ONLY, an interim, smart plan to keep US dollars here working on the problem while we develop ALL OPTIONS can't be discussed. Anyone who has run a business or organization and not just talked about it knows that there are WIN WIN solutions in the gray areas, Black and White thinking just keeps things locked up. Why having a two party system just messes up this country!

Hey guys, where is the "all of the above" category. With almost all the transportation in the country running on liquid fuel .. ie. petroleum products. People who think we can have energy independence by doing ONE thing are naive. Let's stop shipping BILLIONS to foreign countries and KEEP that money circulating in the US... AND... use some of these record oil profit TAXES and Gas price TAXES to invest in Alternative Energy and Alternative Transportation. There is no PURE answer, no Black and White and holding out for PURITY is what has cost us time and money!

It really pains me to take this side but political party aside, Biden won yesterday. Sarah avoided answering far too many questions. It's not a complete deal breaker because she didn't fall flat on her face.
