I am voting neutral on this because up until 3 weeks ago i would have said dog. We have the most amazing, gentle, loving black lab imaginable, he is wonderful. We have had him for 3 1/2 years. My husbands cat, which he had before he had me, is horrible. If I was not such an animal lover he would be gone!!! Three weeks ago we got a new kitten, her name is April and we are all in love with her. She follows us around like a dog, she cries to be picked up, she sleeps in bed with us and waits by the door for us to come home. I am now neutral. =)

It is one thing to be able to say whatever you want, but when what you say is actually oppressing a certain group of people is when it becomes wrong. Especially when you are donating funds to so called "marriage" organizations. I feel that any time we as a Nation try to dictate what someone should feel or think we take a turn for the worse. Who am I or you to say who you love is wrong? People use the Bible as the word of God instead of what it actually is, a book translated a half dozen times written by man. What harm does any of this cause to your way of life? If your child is so easily moved from the "good moral values" you instilled in them then maybe you failed as a parent. The biggest reason I think this has taken a turn for the worst is first the CEO is "guilty as charged" then after they realize the backlash that was inevitably coming they tried to distance themselves from certain groups even going so far as to remove their name from a Marriage Camp that promotes anti gay messages and beliefs. Your corporation wants to only be affiliated with chicken then shut up and sell chicken, if not then get off the fence and take a stand that isnt just "guilt as charged" dont hide from what your saying, face it head on. Of course I am in Afghanistan and have only seen stuff here and there so maybe they have.

Cats aren't normally as lovable and don't need as much attention as a dog, normally. I think that is why I have fallen for Jo. She demands attention and works her way right into your heart! Princess wants attention, too, just on her time when SHE chooses. LOL

A dog is harder to take care of, though. Can't leave Jo at home for a week and not worry about her. Princess can be left home alone for a week when we go on vacation and will be fine, if plenty of food and water is out for her. Jo may eat all of the food right away and needs to go outside to potty. Even when at home, Jo needs let outside, walked, bathed, etc., so definitely takes more work than Princess but I am realizing dogs (at least my dog) is more fun than the cat. Doesn't mean I love Princess any less than Jo, though. They are two sweet girls!

There have been very few cats that I've truly loved but have yet to find a dog that doesn't own a spot in my heart. I'm simply a sap for dogs. So much so that our daughter is named after our jack russel that we lost a few years ago. We miss our sweet Rachael; she was one unique girl as is our baby girl Rachael.

Please do, and this website is for it's users not for me. So even if it's something I don't particularly like I can certainly be outvoted.

One example is the language filter in which I wasn't crazy about allowing foul language on the site. The arguments were there for both sides but in favor of freedom of speech and choice we met both sides in the middle. Instead of allowing full blown profanity to be broadcasted to the world I created an option that allowed users to turn off the profanity filter to show the cuss words and all their glory.

JealousBrother users will always play a big role in the future of the site and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You can thank Big Red (Verizon) for MamaKaz's absence. Just like At&t, when she started with them initially her internet worked great and then they dropped some tower leases and the signal went to hell. Verizon has done something with the 4g signal and her signal is so spotty her phones connectivity is horrible.

I have a dog and a cat and love them both. Have had Princess (cat) for 16 years and Jo (dog) for a year and a half. Always thought I was a cat person. Some things change. There are good and bad to both animals, so thought I would see what others thought. I wanted to use pictures of my pets but can't figure out how to load a picture for a rivalry. I know I used to do it but have forgotten, I guess. Maybe Ryan can remind me? Lol
